The Name Game................
We have received so many inquiries about the meaning behind 'anneticipation'.  What does it mean, where did we get it, basically what's up.....and the most frequently asked question....do you know you spelled the word anticipation wrong? Well.....yes we did, and we did it on purpose.  So here's the scoop for all of you who wanted to know, but never wanted to ask.  Back in 1998 when we were opening our Beauty Boutique in San Marino, we had everything in line.  We had the location, and knew what we would carry etc.  The only obstacle was, "what would we call ourselves"?  Just a couple days before applying for our business license I was still in a quandry with lots of suggestions coming in, and then there it was.  While having my morning cup of tea and reading the newspaper, I opened the Calendar section and the headline read "ANNE-TICIPATION".  The following article was about the new Fall line from Anne Klein that just debuted.  Mom and I looked at each other and we both knew instantly that was it!
